Challenging Black Health Disparities
TORONTO - September 20th 2012 - We are pleased to announce that a partnership has been developed between the Black Health Alliance, TAIBU Community Health Centre, The Village Keepers and Bramalea Community Health Centre to further develop and expand the Black Health Challenge Program. The Black Health Challenge Program seeks to enhance knowledge about healthy eating with regards to culturally relevant foods (yam, cassava, dasheen, curried goat oxtail and coco) and to provide an opportunity for participants to be physically active to the sounds of Reggae, Soca and Latin music.
